A man has died following a crash in the state’s south today.
About 8.40pm (Thursday 11 July 2024), emergency services were called to Burley Griffin Way, Barellan 53km east of Griffith, following reports a car had collided with a truck.
Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District arrived to find a utility had collided headfirst with a truck.
The male driver of the utility died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the coroner.
