Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a man died in a single vehicle crash south of Crows Nest this morning.
Preliminary inquiries indicate at 10.20am a van was headed east on Pechey-Maclagan Road near the intersection with the New England Highway when the vehicle has left the road and hit a tree.
The driver and sole occupant, a Jondaryan man in his eighties, died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
