Ferrari 812 Superfast crowned Robb Report Australia & New Zealand 2019 Car of Year

The new Winter edition of leading luxury title Robb Report Australia & New Zealand has unveiled the results of its annual Car of the Year competition.

This year’s celebration of automotive excellence, sponsored by the Argyle Collection and Royal Automobile Club of Australia, brought together nine category-leading cars –collectively worth $3 million – in contention for the ultimate title. Judged over two two days on roads winding through NSW’s Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury region, each car was profiled and, importantly, evaluated for its performance against category expectations.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast was crowned Robb Report Australia & New Zealand 2019 Car of the Year, with outgoing Editor-in-Chief Michael Stahl labelling it “one of the great cars of our time”.

Added Herbert Appleroth, CEO Ferrari Australasia: “We at Ferrari pride ourselves on bringing world-leading technology, design and performance to the sportscar market. Most importantly, we wish to bring fun to all those around Australia and New Zealand that enjoy our stunning vehicles and there is no better example of that than the Ferrari 812 Superfast. Accordingly we are so pleased and honoured that the Ferrari 812 Superfast has won the Robb Report Australia & New Zealand 2019 Car of the Year. We wish to dedicate this award to the hundreds of engineers, designers and workers that continue to keep Enzo’s dream alive.”
