Applications are now open to volunteer at the 2022 Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth and be part of history as the festival celebrates its 50th birthday.
‘Festival Ambassadors’ are an essential part of the festival experience, helping both visitors and locals with vital directions, advice and assistance throughout the 10-day event.
Coordinator Volunteer Service, Eleze Drew said that it is a great opportunity to be part of an iconic event and meet new people.
“This is a great opportunity for experienced volunteers and for new volunteers, particularly school leavers who could gain valuable experience and add this to their resumes. The Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth is Australia’s largest music festival and is celebrating a significant milestone which makes it extra special.”
There are 3-4 hour shifts available across four different venues: Tamworth Visitor Information Centre, Peel Street, Festival HQ at Ray Walsh House and Bicentennial Park.
Ambassadors will work in teams of two or three during each shift and at each location.
Training and shirts will be provided to successful applicants. It is encouraged that applicants be available for at least 3 shifts throughout the festival.
People under the age of 18 can apply and will be partnered up with ambassadors over the age of 18.
Applications close 21 October, 2021. Applicants must register with ‘RU Volunteering’ at:
