A fifth person has been charged as part of an ongoing investigation into the introduction of contraband at a correctional facility in Sydney’s north-west.

All four remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, a 28-year-old man was arrested as he attended a correctional facility in Glen Innes on Thursday 23 July 2020.
A search of the man’s Nissan Pathfinder was conducted, and police located and seized more than $8000 cash and a small weight scale.
He was taken to Glen Innes Police Station where he was charged with two counts of corruptly give/offer to give agent benefit.
