The City of Stonnington is hosting free, fun interactive workshops designed to make you an expert in reducing and composting food waste.
Led by Reground, a social enterprise helping organisations and individuals create a circular economy through innovative waste collection and waste minimisation projects, experts will cover topics like:
- options available for food waste composting
- things to remember and avoid when composting food scraps
- tips on organising your kitchen and waste spaces to make composting easy
- navigating tricky waste issues and conversations with neighbours and your community.
Workshops include a demonstration of different composting methods to help you decide what might be right for you.
This initiative is hosted by the City of Stonnington and presented by social enterprise . It is also supported by the Circular Economy Household Education Fund and funded by Sustainability Victoria (under the Victorian Government’s circular economy policy, ).
