The finalists that will contest the prestigious 2021 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards were announced tonight at Aloft Perth.
In its 49th year, the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards attracted entries from a diverse range of businesses from across Western Australia.
“The Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards are the most prestigious awards in the tourism industry, with a long history of celebrating and recognising business excellence, innovation and outstanding customer service by tourism operators,” Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall said.
“The past year has presented significant challenges for the tourism industry, but it has also showcased the resilience of tourism operators throughout Western Australia and it’s exciting to see so many businesses entering the Awards, many for the first time, to gain recognition for their accomplishments.
“The longevity and process of the Awards really does mean that those which take home medals are the best tourism businesses Western Australia has on offer.”
Perth Airport Chief Executive Officer Kevin Brown said Perth Airport was proud to be the principal sponsor for the WA Tourism Awards, recognising and promoting the incredible tourism products that our great State has to offer.
“Despite the challenging conditions of the past 18 months, these incredibly resilient operators have continued to provide the best possible experiences for their guests which is a testament to their dedication and commitment to the industry,” Mr Brown said.

The winners of the 2021 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards will be announced at a gala dinner held on 13 November at Crown Perth. Gold Medal winners in categories 1 to 25 go on to represent WA at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, to be held on the Sunshine Coast in March 2022.
