South Australia Police remind the community that this year’s Fire Danger Season has been extended to 30 April in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Murraylands, Riverland, Upper South East, West Coast and Yorke Peninsula.
The Fire Danger Season has also been extended to 12 May in the Mount Lofty Ranges and metropolitan Adelaide.
Please continue to exercise care during this period, ensuring that your yard and premises are clear of combustibles (e.g. rubbish and plant material), and keep lawns and grasslands surrounding homes and sheds well-maintained.

Burnt out spot fires may indicate that an arsonist is practicing in your area. Report suspicious behaviour during the Fire Danger Season by calling the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.
