Cabonne Council is offering free training for the community for ‘First Aid in Time of Disaster’
Join us for an informative and hands-on morning of training delivered by qualified First Aid trainer, Jack Barnes. Participants must be aged 15 years and over.
Please note that this training is non-accredited and therefore you will not receive a certificate of completion.
This training is recommended for:
- Parents and carers
- Already qualified First Aid personnel that would like a (non-accredited) refresher
- People living on rural properties/farmland
- Anyone who hasn’t had First Aid training before
- Anyone who would like to build their disaster readiness knowledge
The course is being offered as a tailored program of Fist Aid essentials during times of disasters including:
- Operating AED
- CPR Theory – adults and babies
- Anaphylaxis
- Heatstroke/Dehydration
- Shock
- Wound care techniques
- Burns First Aid
- Heart Attack
- Disaster Readiness
- First Aid Mental Health
- and more!
