The Ballina Recovery Centre located at the Ballina Surf Club will reopen at 9am on Saturday 2 April.
The Distribution Hub, located on Gallans Road Ballina, reopened on Friday 1 April. If you have been flood-affected, you can drop into the Flood Recovery Distribution Hub for free goods and supplies between 10am to 2pm, seven days a week.
The mobile flood recovery units are also hitting the road next week to deliver flood support in key locations across the community. Check the schedule below for locations and details.
The aim of the mobile flood recovery visits is to bring key services and support to flood-affected residents who are unable to visit the Ballina Recovery Centre.
From Monday to Friday the team will travel to Ballina CBD, South Ballina, West Ballina and Wardell. Agencies and services will include Red Cross, Department of Communities and Justice – Housing, Services Australia, Service NSW, Legal Aid and Resilience NSW. Residents will be able to access mental health support, legal aid, housing services and information about financial support available.
Flood-affected residents can continue to access these services at the Ballina Recovery Centre, seven days a week. The centre is located at the Ballina Surf Club, East Ballina and can be accessed via free shuttle buses.
