From mouth-watering appetizers to delicious entrees, and scrumptious desserts, ‘Bites on the Boulevard’ will bring together the best of the local culinary scene, offering a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
Business Networking Lunch
Friday May 5 (12.30pm to 2.30pm)
One of the highlights of the event is the Business Networking Lunch on Friday, May 5 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, featuring a grazing-style lunch by Event Gourmet and Florals, where attendees will have the opportunity to connect and build relationships with fellow foodies, and local vendors. This will be a perfect opportunity to expand your business network while enjoying a sumptuous meal of cheeses, fresh artisan sourdough, seasonal fruits and vegetables, homemade dips, nuts and cured meats with sweet treats all prepared by local chefs.
La Vita Fresh Pasta
Friday May 5 (6pm to 9:30pm)
Friday night plays host to an Italian Feast provided by La Vita Fresh Pasta Mawson Lakes from 6pm to 9.30pm., celebrating the rich and flavourful cuisine of Italy. Indulge in antipasto platters loaded with cold cut meats, olives, panini bread, arancini and meatballs, a choice of three hot pasta dishes served with Italian salad and garlic bread, and dessert platters filled with mignon cakes and biscuits – washed down with drinks available to purchase from the bar and enjoyed to the sounds of acoustic musicians MR.TheDuo. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Italian cuisine or looking to try something new, the Italian Feast at ‘Bites on the Boulevard’ is sure to be a culinary delight.
Children’s Lunch by Doughballs
Saturday May 6 (11am to 1pm)
The next day – Saturday, May 6 – sees junior foodies come to the table with the Children’s Lunch by Doughballs Mawson Lakes from 11am to 1pm. The two-course meal features shared pizza platters with five different flavours, dessert boards and fruit platters. Drinks will be available to purchase, while a face painter and balloon artist from Mad Hatterz Parties will keep the young and young at heart entertained, with parents also welcome.
Family Movie Screening
Saturday May 6 at 2.10pm
This will be followed by a culinary-inspired Family Movie Screening at 2.10pm. Ratatouille is set in Paris and follows the adventures of a young rat who dreams of becoming a top chef against his family’s wishes.
Pre-purchased tickets are $5 and include a serving of popcorn, with hot and cold drinks available to purchase.
A Taste of India
Saturday May 6 (6pm to 9.30pm)
The program’s finale will be A Taste of India, provided by Tamarind Modern Indian at Mawson Lakes, on Saturday, May 6 from 6pm to 9.30pm. Sit down to poppadum to start, followed by a menu of shared platters including vegetable samosas, chicken tikka kebabs, vegetable pakoras and lamb seekh kebabs for entree, butter chicken, beef madras, aloo gobi and dal makhni with traditional Indian sides for main, and gulab jamuns with chilled rabri for dessert. Hot and cold drinks will be available to purchase from the bar, with acoustic musicians MR.TheDuo providing the evening’s entertainment.
