Are you involved in our local food system?
Do you grow your own food? Are you a local food retailer? Are you passionate about food? Are you passionate about food and its environmental impact?
We want your input!
The newly created Central Goldfields Food Network invite you to attend one of two workshops so that we can find out more about your thoughts about food in our Shire.
Together, participants will produce an issues and opportunities paper that will be used to inform the development of a Food Strategy for the Shire and the Healthy Loddon Campaspe’s regional food system framework.
Workshop One: Wednesday 26 April, 9am to 1pm
Workshop Two: Wednesday 17 May, 9am to 1pm
Both workshops will be held at the Maryborough Community Hub, 48 Burns Street, Maryborough.
To register your interest email [email protected] by Wednesday 19 April and Wednesday 10 May respectively.
The Network is a collaboration between Council, Healthy Kids Advisors, Maryborough District Health Service and Healthy Loddon Campaspe.
The Healthy Kids Advisors initiative is delivered by the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation and supported by the Victorian Government and Australian Government.
