Four males aged between 12 – 17 have been arrested following a break and enter in the state’s Central West at the weekend.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established Operation Boa in January this year, targeting criminal activity in Dubbo and surrounds.
About 12:15am yesterday (Sunday 9 June 2024, police were called to a business at Wheelers Lane, Dubbo, following reports of a break in.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, a short time later, police searched a home a home on Alcheringa Street, Dubbo, and allegedly located a number of electronic items stolen during the break in.
About 1:30am, officers attended a property on Newcombe Court, Dubbo.

Four males, aged 12, 13, 14 and 17, were arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
The 12-year-old boy was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal
He was refused bail and appeared before a Children’s Court on Sunday (9 June 2024) and was refused bail to appear before a Children’s Court on Monday 17 June 2024.
The 13-year-old boy was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal
He was refused bail and appeared before a Children’s Court on Sunday (9 June 2024) and was given strict conditional bail to appear before a Children’s Court on Wednesday 12 June 2024.
The 14 and 17-year-old boys were arrested for breach of bail.
They appeared before a Children’s Court on Sunday (9 June 2024) and were given conditional bail to appear before a Children’s Court on Thursday 14 November 2024.
Inquiries under Operation Boa continue.
