Launceston CIB have today interviewed and charged a fourth person over the aggravated burglary and stealing in Caveside last Sunday.
A 32-year- old man from Rocherlea has been charged with committing the aggravated burglary and stealing. The man is also alleged to have used the complainant’s credit card to withdraw cash from an ATM in Longford later on the morning of the burglary. At the time of the incident he was on Court bail with a residential curfew which he breached.
The man has been charged with aggravated burglary, stealing x 2, breach of bail and failing to comply with public health directions in relation to Covid-19.
He was detained in custody to appear before the Launceston Magistrates Court at 11.30am this morning with bail opposed.
