In response to current drought conditions Strathbogie Shire Council is sponsoring 100 free family tickets to the Euroa Agricultural Show for this Saturday 26th October.
We are aware of the issues the drought brings to both agricultural business and the many businesses within the shire that rely on agriculture.
We will also have a marquee at the Show hosting financial experts from the Rural Financial Counselling Service, and specialists from Agriculture Victoria, Gecko Clan Landcare and Farm Monitoring Solutions as part of the ‘Water on Farm’ project, and other land use management groups. The Rural Financial Counselling Service can help you with advice and applications for grants, as well as tailored advice for your own specific situation.
Please help spread the word, as the Euroa Agricultural Society and Strathbogie Shire Council would like to ensure that anyone thinking of missing the Show this year due to the burden of the drought, will come along, say hi, get some new ideas, and hopefully get some yummy food too.
Tickets can be requested at the gate on the day of the Show, but don’t arrive too late!
