Hawkesbury Library Service will screen a FREE Box Office Movie at 10:30am on Tuesday, 2 April 2024.
The movie is set during World War II where a team of scientists, including the American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, spent years developing and designing the atomic bomb. Their work comes to fruition in July 1945, as they witness the world’s first nuclear explosion, forever changing the course of history.
Nominated for 13 Academy Awards, this blockbuster will be shown in the Tebbutt Room at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street Windsor. It runs for approximately 180 minutes. Tea and coffee will be available before the movie, and everyone is welcome to bring along snacks and drinks to enjoy during the film.
