LEADERSHIP PATHWAYS
Community Resilience Practitioner Training
Resilience Canopy is a national initiative to build strength in our community for generations to come, and there are a limited number of places to attend this important training opportunity.
Applicants are invited to become Community Resilience Practitioners to guide and support community leaders beyond disaster preparation.
By enrolling in this intensive course, you will see beyond the next flood, next bushfire, next pandemic: and feel ready to support your community as it adapts to an uncertain future with confidence.
This deep dive has two online sessions and two face-to-face sessions in Bendigo. If you are passionate about supporting your community to be disaster ready, throw your hat in and apply for the course which runs between 19-27 October 2023.

LEAD Loddon Murray
Community leaders are not always visible, and yet we always feel their presence and contribution, such as in the way we respond to crisis: such as when our hospital needs urgent funds for equipment, when farmers need advocacy to influence policy and when people in our community become isolated and need support.
The LEAD Loddon Murray Community Leadership Program has produced 600 leaders across ten local government areas in the past 25 years, with a number of these graduates right here in Central Goldfields.
The course is 22 days from February to November 2024 and consists of face-to-face, online and group retreat sessions. As a participant, you will gain real life capacity and effectiveness as a leader of the future.
