Fuel tax credit rates increased from 1 February 2023 in line with the Government’s fuel excise duty indexation. The ATO has told NatRoad that its noticed some businesses overclaiming fuel tax credits during the temporary rate reduction period when fuel tax credits weren’t available or were restricted. We encourage members to check claims and fix any errors.
