FUNMANTLE is returning to Fremantle in January 2025, providing all the fun of the fair for the school holidays.
The City of Fremantle is bringing a burst of coastal carnival atmosphere to kids of all ages – big kids included!
Featuring three additional rides and two additional days of jam-packed family fun, FUNMANTLE is bigger than ever.
Families can soak up the magic of the fair with nine fairground rides, sideshow games and more fun surprises, from Monday 13 January to Sunday 19 January, 1pm – 7pm each day.
A $10 online ticket fee (plus booking fee) will give each ticketholder access to all nine rides, including the Mini Twister Helicopters, Dragon Wagon rollercoaster and Flying Dumbo which will be located across three iconic locations.
Kids and parents can take a spin on the classic Cup & Saucer at Bathers Beach, rock and twirl like a tugboat on the high seas on the Rockin’ Tug at Victoria Quay and take in the view from fairground favourite the Lolli Swing at Walyalup Koort.
For parents with younger kids, Bathers Beach (Fishing Boat Harbour) will be a dedicated Kids Zone – with all rides suitable for smaller attendees.
Fremantle Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge said these kinds of events add to Fremantle’s appeal as an entertainment destination.
“FUNMANTLE is an ideal outing for families and the perfect opportunity to create lasting memories together.
“People come from near and far for our popular school holiday activations. Last year 12,000 people came to Fremantle for this event, which delivered an estimated economic impact of about $778,000 to the city,” Mayor Fitzhardinge said.
To add to the carnival fun, ticketholders can follow the trail collecting special code words at each location and enter a draw for the chance to win a $100 TOYWORLD gift voucher. Additionally, there will be sideshow games at each of the three locations.
Visitors to Fremantle are encouraged to take advantage of the free public transport across Perth for all SmartRider users.
