Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad have charged a second man in relation to an incident that occurred in Baldivis on Thursday 5 October 2023.
It will be alleged about 3:05pm, the man who was a passenger in a vehicle, exited the vehicle on Amazon Drive and discharged a firearm.
The 23-year-old man was arrested on Monday 9 October at a shopping centre on Beeliar Drive in Success.
Detectives conducted a search of his vehicle and located several live rounds of ammunition in a backpack belonging to the accused.
A search warrant was subsequently executed at his address in Baldivis where he was charged with:
– 1 x Attempt to Strike a Person with any kind of Projectile
– 1 x Possess Firearm with Circumstances of Aggravation
– 1 x Unlicensed Person Possess Firearm/Ammunition
He will appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 10 October 2023.
