A further two males have been charged following a brawl in Sydney’s west last week.
About 1.30am (Friday 10 January 2020), emergency services were called to a fast food outlet on Blacktown Road, Blacktown, after a man entered with serious injuries.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found an 18-year-old man suffering a stab wound to his left shoulder and extensive bruising to his face.
Another man, also aged 18, was also allegedly assaulted before he was driven by a friend to Blacktown Hospital for treatment.
Police will allege the two men drove to St Martins Crescent Blacktown where they were confronted by up to 10 males, allegedly armed with a machete, a shovel, a baseball bat, an axe and a crowbar.
On Saturday 11 January 2020, police arrested an 18-year-old man outside a home in Cavendish Avenue, Blacktown.
Following further inquiries, at 2.30pm today (Thursday 16 January 2020) officers attended a home on Ridley Place, Blacktown and arrested a 17-year-old male.
Shortly after, at 3pm, a man aged 20, attended Blacktown Police Station where he was also arrested in relation to the incident.
Both males were charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others, affray, armed with intent commit indictable offence and destroy or damage property.
The 17-year-old was refused bail to appear before a children’s court tomorrow (Friday 17 January 2020).
The 20-year-old was also refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court tomorrow.
