  • Project moving forward with Requests for Proposal released to shortlisted companies
  • $122.7 million revamp will deliver improved health services in the Mid-West

The $122.7 million upgrade of Geraldton Health Campus is a step closer after successfully progressing to the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage of the managing contractor procurement process.

Following evaluation of the Expressions of Interest (EOI), the project is moving forward with the RFP process to select the most suitable and capable partner to deliver the multi-million dollar revamp of Geraldton Health Campus.

The redeveloped Geraldton Health Campus will transform the current hospital into a modern, accessible facility that includes an expanded emergency department and intensive care unit and integrated mental health service.

It will bring together the latest advancements in healthcare technology, infrastructure, and patient-centred design to enhance the overall health experience.

The RFP process includes the submission of key milestone dates, pricing information and proposed delivery of social procurement objectives.

The successful managing contractor is expected to be appointed from this process.

The design of the health campus, including the functional and technical requirements, timeframe for delivery, and incorporation of elements that reflect the region’s Aboriginal culture, landmarks and history, will be confirmed through the managing contractor appointment process.

As stated by Finance Minister Sue Ellery:
