Geraldton Police are seeking information to assist in their investigation into an incident that occurred in Geraldton on Wednesday 6 April 2022.
Between 3.50am and 6am, a Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle with a trailer containing water sports equipment attached, was stolen from a carpark on Francis Street.
The trailer and its contents were later located burnt out in Moonyoonooka. The damage cost is estimated at $65,000. The Mitsubishi Pajero was located by police in Waggrakine.
Investigators urge anyone with information relating to this fire, or who has CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the area around the time of the fire, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
