Join Mayor Anne Baker for the Isaac region’s gala night of nights, the annual Mayor’s Charity Ball on Saturday August 10.
The stylish black-tie affair is being held under the night sky in Moranbah’s Town Square, featuring a three-course dinner, live music and entertainment, prizes, charity auction and much more.
Tickets are on sale from Monday 20 May via Eventbrite
Guests can also access the ticketing portal via the Isaac Regional Charity Fund website
Tickets are $130 per person, while tables of 10 are available for $1170, a saving of $130 or $13 per guest.
Mayor Anne Baker urged guests to get in early and secure their tickets to avoid disappointment.
“Last year’s event was a sell-out and 2019’s ball will once again truly be a night to remember, with dancing and dining under the stars in the town centre,” Mayor Baker said. “But we are also raising money for an important and vital cause.”
The gala event, which is an initiative of the Isaac Regional Charity Fund, is raising money for mental health initiatives in communities across the region.
“Last year’s event raised more than $40,000 for worthwhile causes which is a real show of our community spirit and the pure people power which drives our region,” Mayor Baker said.
“The charity fund recently completed an expression of interest process for our annual grants program which distributes those vital funds to support local groups and programs in the mental health space.
“It is important that we work together bring mental health out of the shadows and into the national consciousness.”
Mayor Baker acknowledged the generous support of the event’s 2019 sponsors.
“The generous and valued support of Isaac businesses and organisations, through sponsorship and donations, plays a major part in the continuing success of the event,” Mayor Baker said.
“I thank all our sponsors for supporting this important community event.”
