As the only Holiday Park Group in Australia certified as a social enterprise, Reflections Holiday Parks is super-charged to showcase NSW and boost regional tourism this Xmas and New Year with a raft of new glamping, tiny home and eco accommodation coming online in time for the holidays.
Minister for Lands and Water Kevin Anderson said the NSW Government is proud to see a diverse new range of travel experiences being offered on Crown land across the Reflections network of holiday parks, with all profits reinvested back into facilities.
“Reflections has 36 holiday parks and 43 nature reserves located on 22,954 acres of Crown land in some of the state’s most beautiful holiday locations, from the south to north coast and also inland adjacent to regional dams,” Mr Anderson said.
“So, pack your bags, grab your fishing rod and pick a favourite Reflections spot for a great regional break this summer during what will be a bumper holiday season.”
Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Nick Baker said there was never a better time to get out and experience an outdoor adventure while supporting regional communities. “We are proud to be leading the way in high quality, sustainable holiday options with our new accommodation range including glamping under the stars, coastal tiny homes and premium eco cabins which fit right into the natural landscape,” Mr Baker said.
“Reflections has invested over $17 million this year in park upgrades including 19 new cabins, tiny houses, glamping tents and 52 powered camping sites, and almost $35 million in further upgrades are planned in 2023 including 80 new exciting accommodation opportunities.”
The NSW Government has provided $28 million in loan funding to Reflections to further upgrade its parks to help boost regional tourism and economies.
Inspiring travellers, the accommodation and new holiday experiences’ drive starts from the lower mid North Coast at Jimmys Beach in Hawks Nest through to Byron Bay, with North Coast communities benefiting from a $1 million influx of tourism dollars to parks increasing the annual visitor spend to $52 million throughout the region. The NSW South Coast will also be showcased with a $3.89 million premium eco cabin precinct at Reflections Bermagui ready this summer and expected to increase visitor spending in the region to $3 million annually. The location overlooking the headland, within a stone’s throw to everything the South Coast has to offer, is a dream holiday scenario.
A brand new deluxe glamping area at Reflections Lake Keepit, now available for bookings, ensures Country NSW also receives some tourism love. Primed to be a real drawcard for visitors to the New England Region, Lake Keepit’s ‘Glamping by the Dam’ is perfect for those craving a lux camping experience in a rustic ‘starry’ setting.
