Hobsons Bay community groups and organisations can get financial support to bring projects and initiatives to life thanks to Council’s Make It Happen grants.
Back for 2024, the grants provide funding for initiatives that help support and connect people in our community.
Make It Happen grants help fund activities, projects, programs, events and resources across all sectors. That includes environment, sustainability, sport and recreation, arts and culture, festivals, health and wellbeing, aged and disability, multicultural, community and neighbourhood development, technology, and projects by and for young people, children, families and more.
Applications for this year’s grants open on Thursday 1 February and close on Thursday 2 May, or earlier if funds are exhausted.
Applications, which are assessed monthly, can be made for equipment and resources (up to $1,500), projects (up to $15,000) or events (up to $25,000).
