Police are investigating after a 30-year-old man was assaulted at Barney Point in Gladstone last night, August 3.
Officers were called to the Brisbane Street property at approximately 11.40pm following reports of an altercation.
Upon arrival, a 30-year-old Barney Point man was located with multiple stab wounds and lacerations.
He was transported in a critical condition to Gladstone Hospital before being airlifted to Brisbane for further treatment.
Detectives from Gladstone Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
