Guyra’s main street will come alive with festive cheer and celebration on Friday December 6 when Christmas comes to town.
Brought to you by Guyra Rotary in a collaboration with Armidale Regional Council (ARC) the family-friendly event will take place in Bradley Street from 4:30pm to 8pm.
Festive activities will include a community stage and performances, a visit and presents from Santa, children’s craft activities, facepainting and Fairy Simone will be fluttering in for a special visit.
The highlight of the night will be the lighting of the Christmas tree at 7:30pm.
“We are excited to be partnering again with Guyra Rotary on bringing this fabulous festive event to Guyra,” said ARC Mayor Sam Coupland.
“Events like these are vital for a town like Guyra as they give the entire community a chance to come together and celebrate the festive season.
“This family-friendly event has always been a highlight on the Guyra calendar and this year’s event with be just as spectacular with a range of entertainment as well as the special lighting of the Christmas tree. So, make sure you come along and enjoy the festivities!”
