Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) will go online to ensure the Longwarry community can have their say about the Longwarry Saleyards proposal.
Due to the current circumstances, the usual EPA 20B Community Conference will be held virtually over the internet.
“Normally we hold a community meeting, a 20B, to give people a chance to discuss the matters that concern them about the project, to hear from the proponent and from EPA about the Works Approval process,” said Steve Adamthwaite, EPA Manager Development Assessments.
“As we can’t do that in person currently, we will use online forum technologies to ensure people can have their say.”
The conference will take place in two parts:
• an online public forum which will be open for comment 28 April – 5 May, and
• a live online event on the 7 May 7:00 pm.
The online public forum is an opportunity for stakeholders to pose relevant questions which will be addressed at the live event (7 May).
You must register on to receive details and a link to attend the live event.
