Join Hawkesbury Library Service for a free nature-based creative activity and talk presented by the authors of Nature Heals at Hawkesbury Central Library on Wednesday, 6 September from 6pm.
Nature-based activities are increasingly recognised as essential tools in the healing process. Such therapies can be used for people of all ages and for all circumstances in life such as grief and loss, anxiety, social isolation and more. Nature-based healing is about re-connecting with the natural world and nourishing our sense of self through mindful practices. This hands-on workshop is a must for those seeking tools to help themselves, and for those seeking to help others, through natural, meditative means.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet the authors, and to express themselves through a simple, nature-based creative activity to enhance the understanding and appreciation of this method.
This free event will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.
Bookings are essential via or call 4560 4460.
