International Musical Theatre stars Simon Gleeson and Natalie O’Donnell, are bringing their Heart and Music performance to the Swan Hill Theatre Group’s Memorial Hall in McRae Street on Saturday, 6 August.
The performance was initially scheduled to be held at the Swan Hill Town Hall PACC.
Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Venue Manager, Simon Myers, said moving the performance would provide a more intimate show, with the classic aesthetic of the iconic theatre.
“The Swan Hill Theatre Group will provide an exceptional venue for this event and it’s great to be able to showcase another local venue for our guests.
Mr Myers said Simon and Natalie would come together to perform classic songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein through to The Greatest Showman, with some Billy Joel thrown in for good measure.
“Sing, laugh, be entertained, reminisce with friends and simply enjoy a stunning performance by this talented duo,” Mr Myers said.
Mr Myers said stars Simon Gleeson and Natalie O’Donnell share not just the stage but also a life and two children.
“Heart and Music offers an intimate performance of song and storytelling, which celebrates the music that has shaped both their careers and lives together,” My Myers said.
Simon Gleeson is a leading man with credits that span the main stages of Australia and London’s West End and best known for his acclaimed portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and a Helpmann Award winner.
