Help shape Council’s Annual Budget 2020/21

Tell us what matters more to you and spend in 2020/21.

Council is seeking community feedback to inform the key priorities of the Council Annual Budget for 2020/21.

invited residents, traders and other stakeholders to have a say as Council plans its annual budget spend.

“Let us know what you think our priorities should be and help us plan future spending needs in the community.

“It’s imperative that we listen to what our residents and traders tell us is important as we plan our next annual budget.

“Just like your budget at home, planning a budget is about deciding on priorities and what’s important.

Council’s budget covers a range of important areas – including keeping our city safe, improving our environment, building our city, helping people and supporting health and happiness.

“Like other councils, we continue to face significant budgetary pressures and rely on the community’s feedback to help us make an informed decision on future spending needs across all these areas,” Cr Congreve said.

Have a say by ranking the following priority areas:

  • Health and Happiness (Festivals, Arts and Culture, Parks, Leisure Centres)
  • Helping People (Family, Youth, Children, Aged, Disability and Libraries)
  • Building our City (Local Roads, Bicycle Lanes, Footpaths, Community and Sporting Facility Upgrades and Town Centres)
  • Improving our Environment (Waste Management, Street Cleaning, Graffiti Removal, Planting Trees)
  • Keeping our City Safe (Animal Management, Environmental Health, Food Safety, Building and Planning Approvals)

Consultation closes Sunday 17 November. There are many ways you can have your say.
