Help shape Yarra’s 2022/23 budget

Before we start preparing our draft Budget 2022/23 we want to hear what your priorities are for next financial year.

Every year we develop an annual Budget that outlines how we will spend our money and how it will benefit Yarra’s people, places and services.

The Budget covers everything from waste and recycling collections, maintenance of our roads, parks and infrastructure upgrades, the running of our libraries and leisure centres, support for local businesses and services that support our youngest residents, our oldest and all those in between.

What helps inform the Budget process

Earlier this year extensive engagement and a representative panel process produced Yarra’s first ever 15-year Community Vision.

The eight themes and 30 priorities identified in the Community Vision have helped inform our next four-year Council Plan 2021-25.

The Council Plan outlines our programs, initiatives and objectives that we report against each year.
