Quotes attributable to Mayor of Hobsons Bay, Cr Matt Tyler:

“We are incredibly proud of our cultural and natural heritage, from our rich First Nations history to our post-colonial stories. Our history and stories are steeped in courage, perseverance, innovation and industry.

“Telling our stories is an important part of Council’s arts and culture plan. We want our residents to be inspired to find out more about and celebrate our identity, and we want to provide opportunities for creatives, local networks and groups to work together.

“The program is a great way for locals to find out more about the history of our local area, and for visitors to discover what makes Hobsons Bay such a unique and incredible place to come to.”
