Hidden Forest Festival has partnered with numerous businesses across the Illawarra to provide festival attendees with a range of high-quality local food, beverages and handmade crafts, for the ultimate summer festival experience.
Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said that the festival was a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to share their products and help bring people together.
“Hidden Forest Festival will not only showcase some of the brilliant up and coming artists from the region, there will also be a great range of local goods for people to come enjoy and make a day out of,” she said.
Five Barrel Brewing, a family-run brewery based in Wollongong, will be providing local craft beer on the day. Phillip O’Shea, of Five Barrel Brewing, said that events like Hidden Forest Festival reminded everyone that local beer was something to celebrate.
“We love our locals and are super excited to help bring such an amazing event to life,” Mr. O’Shea said.
“We set aside 3 months to develop a lager specifically for the Hidden Forest festival. Made with all Australian ingredients, this lager is cold-conditioned for two months using traditional lagering methods. The results are unreal! It is full-flavoured, crisp and refreshing, perfect for a warm December day. We’re also bringing our award-winning Pale Ale for a bit of extra kick,” he said.
Simall Wines was established in 2003 by Simon Hall, an Australian winemaker with international and award-winning winemaking experience. Mr Hall leads the Simall winemaking team and together they have created five wine brands and 20 wines.
Simall wines have partnered with Hidden Forest to provide festival attendees with gorgeous, balanced and approachable wines.
Mr Hall said that Simall wines relied on events like Hidden Forest Festival.
“I don’t have a cellar door yet, so events like Hidden Forest allow me to retail my products, and it also allows people to try my wines and wine products,” Mr Hall said.
“I will be offering everyone’s favourite wine varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Rose, Moscato, and Shiraz. I have also made a range of wine spritzers and we will be offering four different types of wine cocktails.”
