A 41-Year-Old Ulverstone man returned a reading more than four times the alcohol limit after crashing through the fence of an Ulverstone residence on Friday evening.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the crash.
The man had his licence disqualified for two years and faces several charges including exceeding the prescribed alcohol limit.
Acting Inspector Craig Harvey said “this is a concerning incident that could have had far more serious consequences, fortunately no one was in the yard of the residence the time and no one was injured.”
The man will appear in court at a later date.
