Highlights from Day 3 at CRPD Review

This morning several delegates met with the CRPD member for New Zealand, Robert Martin. Robert has a particular interest in issues around people with intellectual disability.

On Wednesday afternoon we conducted a side event for CRPD committee members and other interested parties, ‘Voices of people with disability’. We spoke at length on a number of intersectional issues related to the CRPD. These are outlined in .

At the side event, Uncle Paul Calcott unveiled a painting, . The painting shows that in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culture is inclusion.

Later in the day all delegates visited the Australian permanent mission in Geneva.
