The Futsalroos have finished runners up at the NSDF Futsal Championship in Thailand suffering defeat at the hands of the hosts.
The tournament proved to be a worthy warm up for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup to also be held in Thailand April 17-28 despite the Futsalroos going down 9-2 in the Final.
Australia had earlier defeated Thailand in their tournament opener however there was no repeat with the hosts spurred on by a parochial home crowd.
