Your Hobart Health Centre, officially opened today, is the first of its kind in Hobart, providing integrated primary healthcare services, including a walk-in after-hours clinic open every night.
This is a welcome service that will support the public health system, being in close proximity to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
The centre provides integrated primary healthcare services like general practice, an after-hours clinic, pharmacy, skin clinic, pathology and allied health.
Extended hours care includes a pharmacy open until midnight seven days a week and a clinical psychologist, dietitian, podiatrist and physiotherapist.
The Hodgman Liberal Government is investing a record $757 million to build a better health system and it is great to see the private sector playing its part.
Congratulations to the Your Hobart Health centre team for its vision and commitment to providing a new and accessible service to thousands of Tasmanians.
