City of Darwin has partnered with NT Shelter to bring you ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾less Link Up…a FREE event for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾lessness Week (Monday 7 to Sunday 13 August) aims to raise awareness of the causes and impact of homelessness via national and local community events. This includes providing information on the importance of housing as a solution and educating communities on how they can make a difference.
The event will be a great opportunity to engage and connect!
The following will be provided:
- BBQ, tea, coffee and fruit
- Free Haircuts
- Music
- Therapy dogs
- Library tours
- Food and clothing vouchers
- Snack packs
- Free books
- Promotional stalls etc.
When: 9am-12noon Tuesday 8 August
