Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Kangaroo Flat overnight.
Emergency services were called to a home in High Street following reports a woman had been injured, on Sunday 30 October, about 11.50pm
Local police attended the scene and found the woman unresponsive.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Two primary school aged children found in the home at the time weren’t injured.
The area has been cordoned off and a crime scene has been established.
Detectives along with Major Crime Scene Unit officers will process the scene.
