Two men are assisting police with their inquires following the stabbing death of a man at Surfers Paradise overnight.
Around 9pm a 27-year-old man was involved in an altercation with a number of men that are known to him on Cavill Avenue near Orchard Avenue.
The man received a stab wound to the torso and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital however he died a short time later.
Police located the two men nearby and they are currently assisting police with inquires.
