Kempsey Shire Council is offering FREE webinars on sustainable living and cutting household costs during November.
The webinars are part of the Council’s community education campaign to help residents reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and save money on household bills.
In the first three weeks of November, residents can join free webinars with energy expert Adam Corrigan, , investigating topics including how to get started with renewable energy options such as solar panels and batteries, being more efficient in your home and understanding your energy bills.
Registration is FREE and a venue will be available for those people who prefer a face-to-face event, or who are unable to stream a webinar from home.
Webinar one: Solar panels and battery storage in your home
Are you looking at installing solar and battery storage but not sure know where to start? Join Adam Corrigan from Your Energy Friend as he arms you with information to help identify your needs and seek reliable solar installers in the current market. Learn about energy savings and environmental benefits of solar power and what batteries would be suitable for your home. There will be opportunities to ask questions during the presentation.

Webinar two: Energy efficiency in your house and standby power
You might be surprised to discover where energy wastage is happening in your home. We want to help you take back control of what’s happening in your home with energy usage. Adam Corrigan, founder of ‘Your Energy Friend’ will take the guess work out of making your home more energy efficient at a free online webinar session.
Learn where significant savings are to be gained over time, such as investing in efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that use less electricity. Lower power usage translates to reduced greenhouse gas emissions too, so you’d be taking less of a toll on the environment.
