The CommBank Young Matildas continue their AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2024™ on Wednesday night (AEDT) when they take on the host nation, Uzbekistan, in their second group stage.
Australia currently occupies the second spot on the table in Group A after picking up a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over the Korea Republic in their opening game. Uzbekistan will be looking to pick up their first points of the tournament after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Chinese Taipei. The top two teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Colombia 2024™.
AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2024™ group action will take place from 3 – 9 March 2023, with the semi-finals scheduled for 13 March and the third-place match and Final to take place on 16 March 2024.
