Leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised the placing agents and joint bookrunners JP Morgan Cazenove and RBC Capital Markets, in the placing of shares of 3i Infrastructure plc, which completed on 14 February 2023. A total of 30,915,990 new ordinary shares were issued at a price of 330 pence per share raising net proceeds of £100 million.
3i Infrastructure is a Jersey-based FTSE 250 infrastructure investment company that invests across mid-market economic infrastructure in developed markets, with a focus on the UK and Europe.
The Herbert Smith Freehills team was led by London-based co-head of equity corporate finance and head of US securities Tom O’Neill and corporate partner Nigel Farr, supported by senior associate Ben Tooms, and associates Gaelen Perrone and Megan O’Shea.
