Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) crews are on scene at a vegetation fire burning near Blackwater Rolleston Road, in the vicinity of Shotover Range, Humboldt. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze and there is no threat to property at this time. Crews will be backburning over the coming days and smoke may affect the area, including Blackwater Rolleston Road. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep their medications close by. If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
