Hume City Council’s Annual Community Grant Program is now open for applications for projects and initiatives that will bring our community together in 2024.
The program is open to community groups working and based in Hume City that match our values of inclusivity, social justice and community engagement.
We’re asking for ideas from not-for-profit community groups for projects and activities that will celebrate our diverse cultures, support social connection and encourage community-led solutions to community needs.
The 2024 Community Grants Program includes funding opportunities up to $10,000.
In addition to our annual grant offerings covering operational costs, participation activities and projects, this year Hume City Council is also offering a one-off Specialist Partnership Grant to help groups re-engage with and grow their volunteer base, which we know suffered because of the pandemic.
Interested groups are encouraged to register and attend a Community Grants information session, happening online and in–person this week.
Online Monday 15 May 6-8pm
Broadmeadows Community Hub Tuesday 16 May 6-8.30pm
Craigieburn GLC Wednesday 17 May 6-8.30pm
Sunbury GLC 18 May 9.30am-12pm
Hume City Council’s Community Grants Program is a competitive process, and we encourage those who are not successful in the Annual Community Grants process to seek information on whether our year-round grant offerings are suitable for your group or organisation.
