Police have located and seized drugs and an imitation firearm following a search warrant just south of Wollongong.
About 9am today (Thursday 10 October 2019) officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District executed a search warrant at a set of industrial units on Waverley Drive, Unanderra.
Officers located and seized 47 cannabis plants of various sizes, an imitation firearm, drug paraphernalia and hydroponic equipment.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where he is assisting police with inquiries.
Police inquiries are continuing.
