A man will face court today after being charged with drug supply and possession in the state’s north.
About 12.50pm yesterday (Monday 25 March 2019), officers from Oxley Police District executed a search warrant at a house on Anthony Road, Tamworth.
During the search, police will allege they located and seized Methylamphetamine, with an estimated potential street value of $47,000, cannabis and cash.
Two men – aged 28 and 20 – were arrested at the house and taken to Tamworth Police Station.
Following inquiries, the 28-year-old-man was charged with possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug, possess cannabis and deal with proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail to appear in Tamworth Local Court today (Tuesday 26 March 2019).
The 20-year-old man was released pending further investigations.
