The starts today. Originally planned to take place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, the conference will take place online due to the COVID-19 emergency.
Between 28 July and 6 August, up to 2900 scientists will gather virtually to attend 1000 online talks (including 164 poster presentations) delivered from across the world. As in recent years, the experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the data they have collected over the years will be the main attraction at the conference. The first plenary conference, on 3 August, will be devoted to the main results from the LHC experiments and from the ISS-based AMS detector. All the sessions will be re-broadcast on YouTube – – and you can follow the conversation on social media with the hashtag #ICHEP2020.
